The Great Outdoors

We just got back from a fun-filled camping trip with our good friends The Zurchers and The Flemings. What a lovely time we had at Padilla Bay for the night. Most of the women biked down yesterday to the camp ground (25 miles via scenic Chuckanut Drive) and most of the men biked back today. In between were trips to the beach, meals by the fire, smores, tents, ball playing and family and friends. It was my third time camping in a tent this summer and I am becoming quite a pro.

Everyone said I was an awfully good sport about my leg being in a cast. I couldn't do everything I might have like to have done, but I still did really enjoy myself. Here are some shots of me and my pals...Frannie, Sawyer, Ana, and Rudy James.

Tomorrow we leave for Portland for a few days to visit cousins Owen and Finn. I can hardly wait. I've already been talking about those guys for days...
