ezra and liza's blog

We're Ezra and Liza Jane. This our blog. It's where you can see what we've been up to lately. I'm Ezra. I love Mom, Dad, Sissy, playing outside, reading stories, soccer, building things, legoes and tigers. I'm Liza Jane. This is my blog, too. I love Mom, Dad, Ya Ya (Ezra), school, stories, being silly, dancing to music, taking care of my babies and showing off my big vocabulary.

Happy Fourth of July!

We started our Independence Day with the traditional Columbia Neighborhood parade where kids decorate their vehicles and march through the neighborhoods behind a band playing patriot music in the back of a pick-up. Then came music, games and a picnic.

Later in the day, our own neighborhood shut down part of Iron Street for the evening festivities. Kids rode bikes up and down the street, enjoyed fireworks and ate tons of yummy food. The highlight was an enormous 30 pound pig that had been roasted all night on hot rocks in a huge fire pit our friends' backyard.

Hope you enjoyed your holiday, too.
