October Party

Last weekend we celebrated October with a big party. Some friends volunteereed their property of the Mt Baker Highway, where their business resides, to host a bunch of families for some fall fun.

The big equipment was moved out of the large garage at Skyline Electric to make room for various craft stations for the kids, tables for the potluck, cider, a caramel apple station, some kegs, and eventually the bluegrass band, Bentgrass, which was hired for the evening. There were even some good ol' fashioned potato sack races.

A few brave families even camped out for the night.

We stayed up way too late and then drove back into town for some warm beds, but not before we enjoyed the company of friends, good food and drink, great music, and a bonfire.

One thing we forgot were spare camera batteries so we don't have many good shots to share...
