Olympic Gold

We were quite impressed with ourselves on Wednesday when Mom, sissy and I packed into the car and drove north to check out the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver. We drove to Surrey, parked and then took a 30 minute skytrain into the heart of the city. It was a gorgeous day and the views from the train were amazing.

In the city it was so incredible to see the people from all around the world who've come to check out The Games. We walked around all day and got a brief glimpse of some pairs figure skating medal winners doing an exhibition, watched people zipline from building to building and even saw "the flame."

Even though we didn't have tickets to any competitions we were really glad we went.

Tired...but glad.
