McPhail's Berry Farm

I went berry picking with my Mama this week. I loved it. Mama filled her bucket to the brim and I worked hard to pick as fast as her. Somehow, though, I didn't quite keep up. Hmmmm...Must have been because I put most of them in my mouth instead of my bucket. Oh well.

McPhail's also had beautiful gardens to walk through, animals to see and pet, and old tractors and miniature trains that I could sit on.

All in all it was a great day.

Today, we made some jam with our berries. Thanks, Grandma Price, for the canning advice. Both batches turned out nicely.

PS If you look closely at the first picture you may notice that I am standing alone on my own two feet...well, my own one foot and my own one cast. An impressive party trick I've picked up as of late.
