ezra and liza's blog

We're Ezra and Liza Jane. This our blog. It's where you can see what we've been up to lately. I'm Ezra. I love Mom, Dad, Sissy, playing outside, reading stories, soccer, building things, legoes and tigers. I'm Liza Jane. This is my blog, too. I love Mom, Dad, Ya Ya (Ezra), school, stories, being silly, dancing to music, taking care of my babies and showing off my big vocabulary.

The Sled

My Mom was pretty disappointed today to have not had her camera with us when she took me on a sled ride around the block. Since the weather warmed up, I finally enjoyed taking a spin outside in this homemade sled that Papa made. The air was crisp, the sun was shining, the ride was smooth and rhythmic...so much so, in fact, that I actually nodded off. My mom said it was quite a sight to see me ridng upright the rest of the way around the block in my sled, asleep, and still clutching a toy in each hand.

Eyes and Ears and Nose and Mouth...

Things only worsened as the day passed...

Snow Casualty

Our snow friend didn't fare too well last night against the ice rain.

Fashion Risks

I find that a snowy day is a good day to take some fashion risks. How about you? Black tights go with everything, that's for sure.

Owl

We've been going a bit stir crazy here the last few days. School was cancelled all weekdue to the snow and I think it's too cold to go outside. So, we've been making creative use of our quiant little 900 square feet. Luckily for us, Papa is a Lego Master. Look at his creative use of the wheels...

Snow Friend

My Mom and Dad were pretty productive during my afternoon nap. Look what they made me...

More Snow...

I wasn't as keen on the snow the second round. It was cold and blowing sideways in my face. Plus, I had on so many clothes I couldn't move my arms.

Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving. My parents shared how grateful they were that I was there to celebrate the day with everyone. I am, too. I was also quite grateful to try pumpkin pie. Hope you and yours had a wonderful holiday as well.

Pizza Night

Fridays are Pizza Night at our house. Papa rides his bike from work to the local wood fired pizza joint and picks up a ball of fresh wheat dough for our family. When he gets home we make special pizzas to eat for dinner. Tonight's had olives, broccoli, tofu, garlic and cheese. Yum!

Storytime

Before bed I like to read few stories to my Papa. He's a good listener.

Bedtime Ritual

Part of my nightly bedtime ritual includes getting a little crazy with this little pinnochio that hangs from a spring above my changing table. Watch out!

Your Smiling Face

Lately, I've been a big fan of James Taylor. Everyday, after my nap, I insist that my Mom put on track 3 so we can dance around the living room together and rock out.

Comfort Food

We've been having some cold, rainy weather so yesterday Mom, Dad and I spent the whole afternoon together inside keeping warm and dry. Dad made us a special lunch of grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup...my first time for both. I quite liked them and especially enjoyed dipping the greasy sandwich bits into the messy soup and then licking them...Mmmm!

Stackable Bowls

I came up with this little project the other night while my parents were making dinner. I was quite pleased with the final product.
