ezra and liza's blog

We're Ezra and Liza Jane. This our blog. It's where you can see what we've been up to lately. I'm Ezra. I love Mom, Dad, Sissy, playing outside, reading stories, soccer, building things, legoes and tigers. I'm Liza Jane. This is my blog, too. I love Mom, Dad, Ya Ya (Ezra), school, stories, being silly, dancing to music, taking care of my babies and showing off my big vocabulary.

The Snow King

Lately, I've been quite enchanted by a book I checked out at the library called Harry and the Snow King by Ian Whybrow. So much so, in fact, that we've had to renew it.

What a treat it was this morning to wake to snow on the ground. As the big flakes came down again this afternoon, we all bundled up to go outside and make our own Snow King.

Hopefully, he'll bring more snow tonight, just like in the story...

Love Her Already

The bigger Mama gets (and she is getting BIG!), the more excited we are all about baby sister's arrival. Everyday I give her kisses and tell her I love her.

Mom and Dad say I'm going to be a great big brother!

Hiker

I impressed my Mom and Dad this weekend by hiking all the way up to the viewpoint on the Fragrance Lake Trail. I enjoyed poking things with a big stick on the way up and learning the names of some plants. It's one mile up and quite steep...proof I'm quite the outdoorsman, don't you think?

The way back down was mostly courtesy of Dad...I could barely keep my eyes open, let alone walk.

Auntie Lauren

My Auntie came and spent a few days with us in Bellingham. I loved having her around and playing with her, especially with legoes.

I miss her already and talk about her all the time.

Thanks for the fun times, Auntie Lauren!

Happy New Year!

We started the year right by inviting Ke'ala over bright and early so her parents can enjoy a rare day of skiing together up at Mt Baker. Here we are enjoying the first breakfast of 2008 in our jammies, silly smiles and all!

Happy New Year to you all!
