We're Ezra and Liza Jane. This our blog. It's where you can see what we've been up to lately. I'm Ezra. I love Mom, Dad, Sissy, playing outside, reading stories, soccer, building things, legoes and tigers. I'm Liza Jane. This is my blog, too. I love Mom, Dad, Ya Ya (Ezra), school, stories, being silly, dancing to music, taking care of my babies and showing off my big vocabulary.

Gimme A Break

Every Thursday we go listen to live music and eat a picnic dinner with a bunch of other families at Elizabeth Park. This week there was an added element of surprise when I fell off of the jungle gym. It wasn't that high, and Mom was right there to catch me, but somehow I slipped through and...broke my leg.

Bummer.

I'm actually not too bothered by the whole ordeal. It doesn't seem to hurt, unless I stand on it, which I can't do now anyways. I' was actually able to convince a couple of different medical professionals for 4 days that it wasn't broken, before someone got an X-ray today.

Don't let the scowl in the picture throw you off. I just hate posing for pictures, like my Dad. I'm already quite proficient at scooting and crawling again and can get around pretty well. I just can't get it DIRTY or WET. Mom and Dad can hardly wait for our big summer beach camping trip we're taking with friends this Wednesday.

This cast, which I'll enjoy dragging down to Portland this weekend to visit Owen and Finn and to Europe to visit Maya will remain on until late August. It should smell pretty good by the time we get to England. Get ready Bristol...

Family and friends who see me in the next 4 weeks are welcome to sign it like me, Mama, and Papa already did.

Old Friends and New

Last week Mommy and I had a chance to visit with some of her friends from high school and their kids. We had a great day in the sun splashing in the pool, digging in the sand and swinging and climbing on the jungle gym. I especially enjoyed playing with Big Boy Skyler (pictured above with his Mama Shawna), who was great with the little ones. I talked about him all day.

Pool Party

Today I went to my friend Grayson's birthday party. It was really fun. We enjoyed some sunshine, swam in the outdoor pool, climbed on the playground, slid on the slide and had some birthday cake.

I miss my friends from school, since I don't go in the summer, so I was happy I got to play with Grayson and Madison for the afternoon. My teacher, Ella, was there as well. A good time was had by all.

Here are some shots of the birthday boy and some guests...

Take Me Out To The Ballgame

Once a year my Grandpa Sachs gets to invite his family to join him in one of the company suites at Safeco field to root for the Mariners. I've been talking about going to this baseball game for months. Every day I ask if today is the day. I've even often told people that I am going "to see Peepa play baseball."

Well, last Friday the big game finally arrived and although my Peepa didn't actually join the players on the field, as I'd anticipated, I quite enjoyed sitting with him and rooting for the home team. I also enjoyed walking around the stadium with my Grandma and charming the staff into giving me baseball cards. Grandma also taught me to say Ichiro and for the rest of the night I pulled him out from the deck and said his name.

For those who haven't had a chance to sit in one of the suites, let me tell you a bit about them. You get all the food and drinks you can handle (popcorn and hotdogs included), a gorgeous view of the Seattle city skyscape, plush leather arm chairs inside the suite and your own private bleacher seats outside, and even a visit from the Marnier Moose, if you're really fortunate.

Oh, and in case you missed the game...we won!
