Mytael, Jenner, Ona and Finn
This weekend I had a wonderful visit with my family from Portland. It was so great to have my Uncle Mytael (Michael), Aunt Jenner (Jennifer) and Cousins Ona (Owen) and Finn at my house for two nights. They drove a very long way to come hang out with us and we are very grateful.
We had a blast with our BBQ, trip to park and just hanging out. Cousin Ona and I played especially well together and are looking forward to another visit next month with Aimee, Steve and Maya, too.
Stay tuned for more pictures...

Boulevard Park
My Mom has been on Spring Break this week which means that we got to spend the whole week together. We had a ton of fun. One day we went to Boulevard Park to meet some friends. Before we met up with them, though, we sat together on the boardwalk and enjoyed a nice picnic lunch watching the seagulls.

Feeding the Ducks
These are the last of my family shots over the Passover/Easter weekend. We went to a nearby pond to feed the ducks. It was pretty neat. I liked watching them quack and swim around looking for the bread. It reminded me a bit of watching my family hunt for the Afikomen during our Passover service.
I also liked watching my Mama's lightening quick reflexes when I dropped my new ball from my Easter basket in the water. She jumped up and just barely snagged it with her foot before it floated away.
Thanks Mom.

Who's There?
Here's a shot of me during our Passover Seder dinner. I've just opened the door for the Prophet Elijah to join us. Apparently he's standing right there, but I don't see him. When I got back to my spot at the table Elijah's drink was gone. Apparently he HAD been there, but left again, as is customary during this holiday celebration.
Strange.
Not as strange though, as when I woke up Sunday morning and was told a large rabbit had been to the house and left me a basket of goodies.
I get the feeling there's something fishy going on...
Anyways, Happy Passover and Easter to all of you!

Good Friend
We don't have a picture to accompany this because my Mama wasn't there, but today we had a special visitor at daycare.
It was my friend Jay.
Some of you may know that my friend was diagnosed with a very advanced stage of cancer recently and he's been living in Seattle while going through chemotherapy. While he had a few days off his doctors let him go back to his actual home for a few days to be with his parents and brother. Today, he and his Mom surprised us with a visit at school. He wasn't allowed to come into our room or into contact with us because germs are very dangerous to him now, but his Mama held him up the the window and our teachers took turns lifting us up on the other side and we all said "hi."
It was pretty great.
My Mom was really impressed when she picked up today because I ran to her and yelled, "Jay in the window." I was still so excited I'd seen my friend, even though it'd been a few months since I last did, and I couldn't stop talking about.
Good friends are hard to find.

Wow!
My Auntie Lauren is in town visiting and we all went out to eat the other night. We had a long wait for a table so the restaurant staff took care of us with some complimentary bread while we watched the kitchen chefs cooking up a storm in the kitchen. I liked each time when the threw some more olive oil in the pans and a big flame would shoot up.
Quite a show!
