ezra and liza's blog
We're Ezra and Liza Jane. This our blog. It's where you can see what we've been up to lately. I'm Ezra. I love Mom, Dad, Sissy, playing outside, reading stories, soccer, building things, legoes and tigers. I'm Liza Jane. This is my blog, too. I love Mom, Dad, Ya Ya (Ezra), school, stories, being silly, dancing to music, taking care of my babies and showing off my big vocabulary.

Field Trip
Last Thursday I got to accompany Mama and her middle school students on a fieldtrip to Marine Park. I really enjoyed hanging out with the big kids and helping them study all about the food cycle. I was a big help with the collection of decomposers that they needed to look at under the microscopes.
I'm not actually in any of these shots, but perhaps you'll enjoy seeing who I played with...

Kindermusik
Today was the last day of my Kindermusik class that I've been taking for a few months. We had a special party. Everyone had to make cookies from a recipe in our class workbook and we had a cookie exchange. We also sang some new songs, played games, and each got a special cupcake our teacher made us.
It was more sugar than I've seeen in my whole life.
I really liked decorating the little cards my mom and I attached to our cookie bags. I also like the story our teacher read today and when we all played "kitchen instruments" together.
My Mom and I were both sad to see the class end. We're taking it again next quarter, but most of my classmates have new siblings arriving this month so they won't be joining in us.
Hope you enjoy our pictures...

Dr. Doolittle
My cat Bruce has been living a cage for a while in our laundry room while we care for a big abscess he got in a cat fight. He had to have a little procedure and now he has a tube sticking out of his neck to drain the infection. He requires a lot of care. I really enjoy helping out with the medicines, though, as well as giving him food and a little TLC.
Tonight, on my own accord, I brought back a copy of a favorite book called Go, Dog, Go. Then I sat down and read a few pages by heart to my my kitty. I showed him each page after I read it outloud. "Go, dogs, go, (or "do-ga-do")" "Go by blimp ("bee-blimp")" and of course..."A dog party! ("Par-tay!")"
Then, I proceeded to feed Bruce imaginary pieces of cake from the book.
My Mom was quite impressed and I'm expecting my extra care to speed up the recovery...

Dinner With Friends
Tonight we had our good friends the Zurchers over for dinner. We enjoyed some lasagne, some salad, and some good conversation. Ana and I enjoyed being silly together and I was sad to see her go. I called her name and waved bye-bye to her from my doorway where I watched her walk all the way to her car.
