ezra and liza's blog

We're Ezra and Liza Jane. This our blog. It's where you can see what we've been up to lately. I'm Ezra. I love Mom, Dad, Sissy, playing outside, reading stories, soccer, building things, legoes and tigers. I'm Liza Jane. This is my blog, too. I love Mom, Dad, Ya Ya (Ezra), school, stories, being silly, dancing to music, taking care of my babies and showing off my big vocabulary.

A Day At Larrabee

Things are still a bit crazy here with the remodel so please excuse our tardiness in posting pictures from Liza Jane's first birthday.

Here, finally, are some shots from our day at Larrabee State Park. We enjoyed playing on the playground, as well as on the beach, where the birthday girl was serenaded with a few different folk tunes about Miss Liza Jane. Games were played, crafts were made, cake was eaten and the day ended with a very tired birthday girl.

Thanks so much for the thoughtful gifts sent from near and afar for our beautiful girl.

A Few Party Shots

Happy Birthday, Liza Jane!

It's pretty hard to believe that whole year has gone by since this beautiful little girl joined us. It has, though. Today we celebrated my wonderful sister with a party at Larrabee State Park (pictures still to come). She is such an amazing person. She is curious and observant. Her giggle is infectious. She greets each day with a smile and is quick to pass on hugs and waves hello and goodbye. In the last week she's really perfected walking which has been so exciting to watch. So is her habit of dragging a book over and curling up in your lap. We love to hear her babble and mutter words like Dada, Mama, Nigh Nigh and Daw (dog). She chases me around all day copying everything I do. She is perfect in every way.

Happy Birthday Sissy!

The Clubhouse

This playstructure has been quite a hit at the house we're staying in during remodeling. We call it The Clubhouse.

So much oversized plastic, so much fun...
