Nice To Meet You

I had the opportunity to meet my Uncle Michael, Aunt Jennifer and Cousins Owen and Finn this past weekend.

What a fun time.

We enjoyed nice walks, a morning at the park, a cook out, stories, a trip to the beach and lots of good quality family time.

Thanks for making the big drive up to meet me! It's pretty quiet at our house today and Big Brother, especially, has been pretty sad about you leaving. We hope to see you all again very soon.

4 Months Old

It's so hard to imagine our life before Liza Jane. Her presence in our family unit is a force to be reckoned with...She is wild, zany, loud, spirited, silly and so, so loving. She loves to make great eye contact and chat away with you. She loves, even more, to snuggle you close and hug and kiss you. I am pretty tickled by the big grins she gives me and how much fun we have together already.

I love you, baby sister!

La Push

We just got back from a lovely three days in La Push. Liza and I enjoyed playing in the sand, throwing rocks in the water, and walking on the beach. Watching Mommy and Daddy jump into the big, freezing waves was pretty fun, too. So was squeezing all four of us into a big soaker tub with bubble jets and a panoramic view of the ocean.

Twilight Special

We just got back from a lovely trip to First Beach, in La Push where Mommy stayed up late each night spooking herself silly with one of the Twilight books. She was quite pleased when we saw this sign outside a mini-mart and cafe on our way into La Push.
