We meant to post these a few weeks ago.

We had a lot of fun this summer playing and swimming at Lake Padden. It's hard to believe that two weeks ago it was in the 80's and we were swimming outside.

It sure looks and feels like fall now.

School Days

First Day of First Grade

We're two weeks behind on this one, but that's how we roll these days.

Here's the first day of 1st grade. So far I'm loving it.

Check out my close up and you'll notice a nasty boo boo. Zoom in on it and you might note the three stitches I got to sport on my first day back at school. It was a classic face meets pavement incident outside our favorite doughnut shop. You know that old saying about how heads bleed a lot? Well, they do. I was a real rock star, though, when they stitched me up. I didn't even flinch.

Thanks to Auntie Lauren, who happened to be in town and was able to watch sissy at home while Mom, Dad and I had a relaxing 4 1/2 hour Sunday in the ER.

Nothing like starting a new year well rested...
