Padilla Bay

Mom and I celebrated the beginning of summer by joining 8 other families with kids for a camping trip at Padilla Bay. What great time. Even though it rained off and on, we were all NW outdoor enthusiasts and embraced the outdoors, wet and dry. I loved playing with all of the kids, digging on the beach, chasing the many dogs that came along, roasting hotdogs by the fire, and sleeping in a tent with my Mama.

We came home with many memories and very few pictures to share. Here are a couple, though....

Happy Father's Day!

Today my Mama and I worked on a little watercolor project for Dada while he went on a bike ride. I wanted to tell him I love him and that I"m glad he's my Daddy. He really liked my finished work. Then we enjoyed a nice meal together and a pleasant walk around the neighborhood before bed.

Giving It A Try

It seems important to my Mama and Papa that I try to use this thing to go to the bathroom, so I've been willing to give it a try a few times recently...for a small camel animal cookie.

So far, I haven't been able to produce any pee, but it is nice to just sit down and have a little snack.

West Beach...Then and Now

I had forgotten to add these shots to my blog, when I was catching up on my big Orcas Island trip. Then, I just saw a similar posting on my cousin Maya's blog and remembered I needed to add these.

About a year ago I got to go to West Beach Resort on Orcas Island with my parents and Aunt Aimee, Uncle Steve and Maya. We took this first shot. Then, a few weeks ago, when were at West Beach again we took another.
