Nothing like celebrating late March with...snow?! Funny weather in the Pacific Northwest this spring. We've had a few brief snowy mornings lately, but today we were covered with huge snowflakes from the sky all morning and afternoon. They collected on the grounds and street a few inches...enough to build this guy.

I was pretty excited when my Mom told me a big bunny might stop by our house and leave me a little basket of goodies. Much to my parents' surprise, I said I hoped he would bring me some new sidewalk chalk. Quite a coincidence, I guess, because that's exactly what the Easter Bunny had had in store for me all along. There were also a few fun little playdough shape makers and some little snacks. If this torrential downpour ever stops, we plan to go outside and hide and find some eggs.
