ezra and liza's blog
We're Ezra and Liza Jane. This our blog. It's where you can see what we've been up to lately. I'm Ezra. I love Mom, Dad, Sissy, playing outside, reading stories, soccer, building things, legoes and tigers.
I'm Liza Jane. This is my blog, too. I love Mom, Dad, Ya Ya (Ezra), school, stories, being silly, dancing to music, taking care of my babies and showing off my big vocabulary.

Three Years Old!

My big brother turned three yesterday. Mom and Dad say it's hard to believe he's so big already. I've only known him for five weeks, but I can already tell you he's the best big brother there is. He's so sweet and clever and has a great sense of humor. We sure are lucky to be his family. There are a lot of fun things going on around town this weekend, which brother has really enjoyed. Here are some shots of him doing a few favorites, like throwing rocks at the beach and watching the Ski to Sea Parade parade. Tomorrow a few friends are coming over for a barbeque. More pictures to follow...

Everyone Loves a Parade

I enjoyed taking little sister to her first parade this weekend. We met Ke'ala for the Junior Ski to Sea Parade which featured pre-schools, middle school bands, and local kids. Ke'ala and I had a blast jumping up and down, clapping our hands along with the music, and sending Daddy out into the street repeatedly to retrieve the treats that were thrown. He did a great job elbowing away the littler people to get us some snacks.
It was a nice warm-up for the grand parade which happens next Saturday. I'm looking forward to bringing my cousins, Owen and Finn, who will be up visiting. What could be better than hours of local high school bands and cheerleaders, the mayor, clowns, and of course shriners...
Clever Boy

I've come to learn quickly that my big brother is quite a builder. Here he is showing off today's masterpiece...an icecream-lettuce-grape boat delivering it's wares...
Bathing Beauty

Nothing like a nice warm bath to wind down with at the end of a long day.
Beautiful Girl

Don't you think my sister is lovely?!
Larabee State Park

I enjoyed watching my big brother Ezra today as he ran around on the beach at our friend Mara Brogan's 2nd birthday party. I'm looking forward to the day when I can climb around on the beach myself. For now, I was quite happy being held, enjoying the view, nursing, and taking a little nap on a rock.
Today was the first day our family of four really ventured out much together. Besides the b-day party we also tried trips to two different stores. I seem to share my cousin Finn's lack of interest in automobile rides. I showed about as much enthusiasm for riding around in a cart in my car seat, though I was happy to shop as long as Mom or Dad held me.
After just over two weeks at home I am now learning from my big brother that the squeaky wheel gets the grease...and I am squeaking a bit more. A girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do...
