Labor Day Party

A bit late, but here are some shots from Labor Day when we camped out at a big party on 20 acres in Alger. There was a big potluck, live music, a bonfire, camping, kids running everywhere and lots of laughter.

The owner, Paul, built the straw bail home himself as well as the barn and stage. He's also completely off the grid.

It was a pretty neat experience.

Growing Up Fast

It was a big day, for sure. These shots capture many of the emotions of the morning...excitment, fear, bravery, pride, a few tears (mostly on Mom's part)...

I really enjoyed my first day of kindergarten. My teacher is supe nice. We have way more circle times and way more recesses than pre-school and we got to listen to a bunch of stories. And my best pal, Grayson, is in my class.

I'm excited to head back tomorrow...
