Leavenworth

 

 

Everyone loves a fake Bavarian town in the mountains, so a few weeks ago we set out with our Mommy, and two other Mommys with kids, for a Mommy getaway in Leavenworth.

We stayed in a sweet cabin in the woods and hiked, biked, played games, threw rocks in the river, hot- tubbed, and kept cozy roasting marshmellows by the fire at night.

We also went into town to swim at the community pool and walk along the river.

A great time was had by all, though Liza Jane's expression on the car ride back illustrates how pooped out we were from all the fun.

PS  We've been experiencing some technical difficulties at home so pardon us as we now try to catch up on the blogging of this summer's adventures.
